When you love snacks as much as me, and I mean LOVE, you have to do two things:

  1. Practice self-control (moderation is SOMETIMES my friend)
  2. Live an active lifestyle

So basically, I rely on number 2 most of the time. But hey, there is always room for improvement right?

Fitness is just as much mental strength as it is physical (but more on that in a later post.)

Here are some of my favorite fitness quotes and affirmations that keep me going. Nope. I’m not talking about “nothing tastes as good as skinny feels”…because food is freaking amazing lets be real… If any of the quotes below resonate with you, repeat them to yourself in the mornings or while you’re holding that squat at the gym;)


You have a choice, you can throw in the towl, or use it to wipe the sweat off your face.


Remember why you started.


Stop letting food be the boss of you.


Three months from now you will thank yourself.


Don’t let fear paralyze you. Let it MOTIVATE you.

I will beat her. I will train harder. I will eat cleaner. I know her weakness. I know her strengths. I have lost to her before, but not this time. She is going down. I have the advantage because I know her well. She is the OLD ME.
