If you follow me on instagram, you know I love a good boxing sesh. My mornings don’t feel quite right without a killer SWEAT class at Prevail Los Angeles. I remember walking over to my very first 6am class in the fall of 2014 feeling a mixture of excitement and fear – like this could be really fun or this could be complete torture… Luckily it was the former. Still, being the perfectionist that I am, I felt like I couldn’t hang until I knew how to box. This is the obstacle I often cross paths with in life.

I mean, why would I go to a class for something I’m not good at? UM, maybe to LEARN and GET BETTER. This is an idea that I wish I would have adopted in my early years in life. If I had, I might have been a remarkable singer or killer piano player by now. Nevertheless, I am so grateful I finally got over this insecurity in time to developΒ and grow in my new passion: fitness.

Now, I box a good 5 to 6 times a week and still learn and grow every session. The workout is what piqued my interest, and the coaches are what keep me going back for more. They are all so fun, motivational, and individually unique, I can’t get enough. Playlists are always on point. Whether you’re vibing to Coach Lolo’s rap playlist, throwing in a few air guitars to Coach Rob’s classic rock mixes, or crunching it out to Coach Pooch’s slow jam abs session, you will always feel the burn and be pushed to your limits. Prevail is THE place to get your blood pumping and exercise your agility. Come sweat with me, you won’t regret it.
